Knowledge Network Select Dinner Highlights: CT’s Economic Growth & Business Development
Great discussion last week with financial executives from across Connecticut at one of our Knowledge Network Select dinners focused on the state’s economic growth and business development landscape.
A special thank you to John Bourdeaux and Michelle Ormsby from AdvanceCT for sharing insights into the many initiatives underway to attract new businesses, support the expansion of existing companies, and strengthen Connecticut’s long-term economic competitiveness.
A few themes that stood out:
- Emerging sectors such as quantum technology represent a significant opportunity for Connecticut, building on the state’s strengths in research, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.
- AdvanceCT not only focuses on attracting new businesses to the state, but also serves as a resource for Connecticut companies looking to scale, invest, and create jobs.
- Collaboration between business leaders, educational institutions, and economic development organizations is critical to sustaining growth and attracting investment.
