Hiring managers think it’s easy – have a kick-off meeting with the talent acquisition team where you describe the requirements of the role, sit back, and wait for the perfect candidate to appear. The reality is that talent acquisition is much more difficult, especially during a period of unprecedentedly low unemployment. Without actively engaged hiring managers, the recruiting process can easily derail. Ensuring hiring managers are accountable throughout the entire process can be a challenge, but it is absolutely critical to your success.
