Private equity sponsor received a resignation from the CFO of their health care portfolio company as they were starting the process of selling this long-held investment. VSP was engaged to secure an interim CFO to support the sale process, while managing the day to day accounting and financial reporting function. Within two days of receiving this assignment, VSP produced a CFO from their network with highly-relevant experience gained in private equity-backed healthcare organizations. This individual successfully completed the nine-month assignment and made crucial contributions to the private equity firm’s successful exit from the business.

Multi-Billion-Dollar Public Company
Global publicly-traded holding company with a 12/31 year-end received a resignation from their Controller in December. VSP was engaged to find an experienced SEC reporting professional to support them through the 10K filing. Within three days of receiving this assignment, VSP introduced a veteran SEC reporting professional who was in transition. This individual provided immediate stability by executing the year-end closing and reporting process. He oversaw headquarters accounting and delivered a clean Q1 SEC filing while the company executed a full search for its next Controller. Even after the company had secured its new Controller, the Director stayed on to execute a handful of special projects before ending the assignment following the Q2 filing.
