Summary

There is no shortage of discussion around transaction readiness, yet much of it remains either overly technical or too narrowly focused on process. For CFOs, the challenge is not simply preparing for a transaction, but understanding how to position the business holistically to drive value and achieve optimal outcomes.

At our next session, Navigating Transactions: Financial, Operational, and Tax Considerations for CFOs, we will explore the evolving role of the CFO in preparing for and navigating capital events, including sales, recapitalizations, and growth financings. The discussion will focus on how finance leaders can align financial performance, operational readiness, and strategic positioning well in advance of a transaction.

A central focus of the conversation will be the tax implications inherent in transaction planning, including how entity structuring and pre-transaction tax strategies can impact proceeds, enterprise value, and potential liabilities. The session will also address critical areas such as quality of earnings preparedness, internal controls and reporting, advisor coordination, and how to effectively navigate diligence while presenting a compelling financial narrative to investors or buyers.

This will be a peer-driven, interactive roundtable designed to encourage candid discussion and the sharing of real-world experiences. CFOs in attendance will gain practical insights and actionable perspectives to better position their organizations for successful transactions.

Seating will be limited, so financial executives interested in attending should RSVP to Bill Bardani: bill.bardani@visionsearchpartners.com.

This session is eligible for 1.5 CPE credits for CPAs.
